Estate find!  Antique sterling silver sugar tongs.  They were made ca. 1900 by Dominick & Haff in the Century pattern.  They feature highly detailed eagle claw ends and the letter H engraved on the end.  They are marked on the inside with the Dominick & Haff hallmark, STERLING and Pat'd'd as well as the name of the retailer, Smith Patterson Co.<br>The tongs measure 5" long and 2" wide.  They weigh 32.2 grams.<br>Excellent antique condition.  Do expect stubborn tarnish and light scratches from normal use and handling.
